Steve Blaha has worked in the construction business for over 20 years in the Portland, Oregon area.  He started siding homes as a summer job after graduating from college in 1988 and decided to enter into the field full time. After several years of working with all types of siding and windows, and a stint in the advertising industry, he started doing business under the name SB Siding. In 2002 he incorporated under the name Esbey Construction and began studying building sciences. In 2003 Steve became an Oregon Certified Home Inspector and started HomeCheck Inspection Services, which operates under the charter of Esbey Construction. In his off time he enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf and camping.

Magnus Fleischmann

Production Manager

Magnus is a native of Munich, Germany who has lived in the US for nearly two decades. As a carpenter, excels at problem solving the most difficult applications. Whenever we come across difficult situations, Magnus is inevitably called in to make things work and look right. Although his first career choice was to be a musician, we are grateful that we we have access to his talents. Aside from drumming in various bands, he also enjoys playing and watching soccer.
